Diving in Tintamare
Once settled by cattle and goat farmer and cheese producer on beginning of 20th century. Today Tintamarre is an uninhabited island located in a Marine Park off the Northeast coast of French Saint Martin. It’s a favorite spot for many local snorkel tour operators who go there for snorkeling with the turtles, which graze the seagrass bed in front of the pristine sandy beach. Wild goats are still roaming the east part of the island and can be found in wooden areas or around old farm house and barns. There is abandon air strip dating Second World War with engines scattered around from stranded airplanes.
DIVING TINTAMARE
Diving here is simple and available to all divers. Small vessel “Circus” is seating in upright position on shallow flat bottom and become a habitat for many species of fish and langusta. Surrounding rocky cliffs and underwater boulders are heaven for small fish underwater and birds above. Easy relaxing dive, short distance from mooring boys.

For most who land on this island with us, The evening bon fire, supper prepared on flames and party is the most rewarding. In the morning we live the beach the way we find it, clean and beautiful as she was when we arrived.
